When was RRNI founded?

Answer:
1973. It is now one of the oldest continuous international radio ministries in the brotherhood.

Who is the founder?

Answer:
Roy Beasley, a preacher of the gospel for more then 50 years. He has done local work and preached in many states and foreign countries. RRNI was begun while he and his family were in the mission fields of Indiana. He and Jeanette have made their home near Brentwood, Tennessee for 20 years. They are members of the Woodson Chapel Church of Christ where he serves as a teacher. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.

Who oversees the work?

Answer:
It is under the oversight of the East Huntsville (Alabama) Church of Christ (since 1980). Roy Beasley preached for this congregation during the 1960's.

Who are the speakers?

Answer:
Roy Beasley, James E. Jones, Dale Flowers, and Adrian Limbawan (Philippines).

In what languages do you broadcast?

Answer:
Primarily English except for the Philippines were some dialiects are also used. English is the "universal language", taught in schools. Some seek out English broadcasts to "improve their English".

Where are your overseas stations located?

Answer:
RRNI owns no stations. Air time is purchased in various target areas world-wide. We find this less expensive and gives more flexibility.

What about coverage?

Answer:
We have heard from listeners in about 120 countries and islands on four continents. Thousands have been enrolled in BCC.

What program formats are available?

Answer:
(1)Five-minute daily
(2)Fifteen-minute daily and/or weekly
(3)thirty-minute daily and/or weekly
These are teaching or preaching programs. The thirty-minute format includes some singing.

How do you handle follow-up?

Answer:
Through "The Apollos program". Based on the case of Apollos (Acts 18), it has proved effective in converting hundreds of religious leaders who in turn have converted thousands of their followers. Contact us for additional information about this unique program of evengelism.

Do you conduct campaigns and seminars?

Answer:
Yes. Successful campaigns have been conducted in the Philippines, Nigeria, Malawi, and Kenya. A campaign is "harvest time for souls" and several are planned. We do not go in "cold turkey" -- only by invitation and after proper preparation has been made and the time seems right for maximum results. The seed is sown and cultivated through radio programs, personal correspondence, Bible Correspondence Courses, and the Apollos Program befroe going in to gather the harvest.

Who are your co-workers and how is your work organized?

Answer:
We believe that proper organization is necessary for maximum results. The work is under the oversight of the Elders of the East Huntsville, Alabama (USA) Church of Christ. They are Jack Smith and Frank Stevens. Please click here to see their web page.

Just how effective is your evangelistic radio outreach?

Answer:
RRNI has proven itself to be one of the most productive evangelistic efforts in the brotherhood.
Consider this:

But, most amazing of all is the cost which averages $65 per convert and $2500 for each new congrgation established!

How can you explain such phenomenial results?

Answer:
Aside from the providence of God, there is no explanation. No one planned it. The results have gone far beyond anything anyone expected. We just concentrate upon sowing the seed of the kingdom and depending upon God to give the increase. But, it worked out this way: We noticed that much of our mail came from denominational preachers and/or religious leaders. Brother Clayton Pepper designed the Apollos Program especially with them in mind. Hundreds have been converted, and they, in turn, have converted thousands of their followers. God has promised us that He will not allow His word to return unto Him void (Isa. 55:10, 11).

How effective is radio compared to other media?

Answer:
The above facts offer abundant proof that we can take the gospel into all the world anytime we decide to do so and at a reasonable cost. Radio cannot be surpassed in reaching the masses, especially Third-World countries, with the gospel as long as there is effective follow up. In many Third-World countries TV is unavailable to most people. Most of the world is illiterate. They cannot read. But, they do have radio upon which they depend for information, entertainment, and spiritual sustenance. TRY RADIO! TRY RESTORATION RADIO!
