On top of this, they still had to deal with the troubles of life we all deal with - mistakes are made, lessons are learned, children grow up, and people pass on. But this all only made them stronger. No matter how difficult, they faced life head-on-they had no choice. Their faith, love, and friendships got them through, and this is why they truly were the "Greatest Generation".
